Power Trunk Issues
My power trunk no longer works. Took it to Lexus dealer and was quoted $900 for the locking latch mechanism!
I found the mechanism online for approx $300. The latch itself is easy to replace but the roadblock preventing that
is the trunk lid liner that covers the latch and must be removed first. Anybody have experience removing this
cosmetic trim piece covering the inside of the trunk lid? It is much more inscrutable than it originally appeared.
