Drip rails 2011 460

Drip rails 2011 460
Ok,
So both drip rails have bit the dust. One broke at bttm right at eyesight level on passenger side and driver side bit dust about 2 inches from bttm. I have black/black RWD and took them off today. I have to say it does look like its part of car with full chrome front to back. Things I wish i knew before this started:
1. I would have peeled off before i let it go. It did leave some notice of it where it peeled but sat there for 6 weeks.
2. It did come up pretty well with heat and glue residue was taken care of by alcohol.
3. This job took 45 mins to hr max and looks much better than it did.
4. Mine did not peel out in 1 piece but it dod work off in manageable sections. Will post pic when clean.
5. I think chrome looks better than mylar black when all complete!
