1. to preset stations, I hit "scan" and when i find a station i likie i try to hover the mouse over a preset spot, depress it and it wont set the new station. However, if i manually tune it and then use the mouse... it will preset. Is this how it should work?

2. When i scan and a station is located.... how do i get the radio to stop on that station and quit scanning?

See the attached image from 2014 owner's manual for answers to your questions. Yellow highlight for Question 1 and blue highlight for Question2. In brief, to set station, press the Preset button until you hear a BEEP. And to quit scanning, push SCAN again.

when i hit the scan and it stops on a staition.... i then go over to the preset spot and hold it..... wont get the beep... it wont take the new station just goes back to the old one.
now... if i manually tune the station in.... it will work
