LS600HL DIY Hybrid Battery replacement(using Prius cells)

new battery a little bit taller but it fits in original space in the trunk. The only concern is the air flow. I will add some foam insulation to direct air flow. The total voltage on battery now is 310v
Installed battery in the car. Everything fits ok. Started the engine and tested voltage reading. Total voltage looks good(300-340v) but individual cell voltage jumping. That means I have bad connection on come BMS wire. I will open again and retest connection.
Did you charge the cells individually or did you pair them up and charge them as a pair? It's very important that the modules are very even before reinstallation. Did you balance the entire pack by tying all the negative leads together and positive leads the same?
Also, how did you vent the battery cells? It seems like it would be very complicated with so many vents on the top in lots of places.

I charged them individually. But I didn't balance them. I will do all that this week. Question why is a distinguished pattern on reading. I did not worked on vets. I planing on using Prius vent duct
Hello Argonfatl, I am reading this thread for the first time, and am very intrigued by your project. I am unable to help with your technical issues, but wish you complete success in this project. I am guessing you are technically knowledgeable and skilled in this topic. I admire tinkerers like you who are willing to take a risk and spend lots of time and money to find a cheaper alternative to the LS600 hybrid battery. This is not a viable option for most folks, however. Can you estimate your total investment in materials and time on this project? Thanks, and Good luck!

I paid $600 for battery cells/ $250 for custom brackets/ around $100 for small parts.
It's hard to count time because I do it when I have a minute. Disassemble was around 3h. Everything else probably 10h together.
I try to take my time and not rush to avoid mistakes.
I hope when I will done it's provide information for somebody who can make it easier.
I find problem. I didn’t connect all the way connector. After fixing it everything works good. I will do some testing to make sure. I want to make sure cooling working as should.
