The Brembo’s, the Torsen differential, the ISF tuned Aisin was already in the Lexus parts bin. The bigger sways, VGRS, BBS, interior and exterior ideas were already there. Even the 03-04 Mercury Marauder must have been inspirational. This platform is very capable.

And back on topic there’s already tunes available on the 3.5 to raise boost.

Remember back in the day how they'd say "90% of torque available at xxxx RPM"? (Weird how nobody says that anymore, I guess bc everything is FI now!!) I think that's the case with the 430 because I agree, numbers wise the 4.3 never really was anything to write home about. However it's very torquey in my opinion. All I know is I can barely step on the gas, barely crest 2k RPM and still beat traffic from a light. That's glorious. Today an LS430 would be considered slow but IMO it's plenty fast.

I lent my LS to a family member for a few months and I miss it dearly. I literally had a dream last night about driving it, the smooth torquey engine specifically.
