Lexus Fanatic
Be careful. I found this for the SHO's and thought it was awesome, until I saw all the bugs experienced by users. Like most of these tech things (V- Line, etc), it does not come with seamless operation. High in "looks cool factor", low in "works as advertised factor".

Like Heinlein said “I know the game is crooked but how are you going to win if you don’t play.”
fairly obvious some here are going to buy this. Just when...
no apple car play that I can see?

I have this for my Subaru Outback. My unit was all but plug and play and I had to figure out pretty much every connection and made my own adapter. But the ease of installation depend of which car you install it on, the Subaru one is not very popular and the harness included didn't fit my car. It works ok but I find it under-powered. The one for the ls might have a better processor. Apps are running alright but the screen is not "snappy" like a good tablet. The most useful app for it is by far google maps but in my unit while it work fine once the destination is set it run painfully slow and crash sometime. It still beat any day the very outdated oem nav setup on my Subaru. As for the Lexus I would certainly get it if I didn't had stock nav or if my hard drive crapped out and was stuck having to buy a new radio. My current setup with Ivic and an external 8 cores android computer work best for me and most importantly is upgradable without removing the radio. But they don't make Ivic anymore and I heard mixed review about vline so if I was stuck with the stock radio and nav I guess I would give this a try. You need to understand that this is different than carplay and android auto and in my opinion better as you don't have any limitation on what you want to run on it. If you want to watch youtube while driving you can.

My thoughts are that the Tesla like screen shown would need to have an internet connection to navigate.
No built in hard drive nav maps.
Every day the internet is getting more robust but out west out west I still run across some no service areas.
like the idea very much although

I installed two similar units. One in the ls430 (albeit smaller) but basically plug and play. I installed one on a highlander....wow. I hated life!
After a trip to a shop, it was working well but airbag light was on. After removing it, I found it was a fuse, but wonder if the removal of unit helped too. Looks great and adds to the car.
