Default Center Armrest Removal

Hi all,
I would like to have my center armrest recovered. I bought a new cover but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the assembly so I can install. Has anyone done this? I am willing to take photos and do a write up if someone can guide me as to how to remove it. Thank you

I'm also looking to remove my console box to have a side panel re-glued. It is an 2008, so perhaps different than yours but I suspect not much. The front side panels are held on with clips and must be removed, connection to 12v socket and audio plugs unplugged. Finally their are two bolts under the mat on the floor of the box, and then I suspect one or two more toward the back behind the vent which jdanielca is referencing.

Might someone have a diagram to be sure all bolts are accounted for?

Oh wow this is a pretty involved project....I did try removing the a/c vent but wasnt coming out so easy. I started to make small marks in the side trim so I stopped as I didn't want to damage or snap anything.
