Can I stream Audio Via Bluetooth?

In my Porsche 928 GTS I have a modern head unit that allows me to stream iHeart radio through the stereo system.

Is it possible to do the same on a stock LS 460?

I have a 2013 Lexus Ls460 F sport. As long as you are connected through Bluetooth you can stream music. I have Samsung music app on my note 5. It connect automatically when I turn on my car and I can play all my songs on the app.

Bluetooth was added to the LS for MY10. Previous years did not have streaming available. There is a module that you can buy to add it to the stock system I believe though. Search around and you'll find mention of it.

a simple 10-30 dollar little dongle connected to your AUX port will work fine, no need for anything complicated. if you want something with a brand check ZUS products by nando

Thanks, all.

My 08 doesn't offer bluetooth audio. I bought a taotronics TT-BR05. it plugs into the mini port inside the armrest. Works great. NO visual on the screen, but all my music plays perfectly. it shows a battery life indicator on the top right on your phone so you have plenty of warning to recharge, Or in the case of the other day, it started beeping, which meant charge. I just connected a mini plug to my phone and kept on singing away!

Hey RendyV - I bought this one for my '07:
It works great. Splits phone calls off to the on-board Bluetooth (maintains steering wheel controls) , and streams music through the aux. input perfectly. Power plugs into the 12v socket in the console, so no batteries to fuss with. And the dongle can just sit next to your seat heat/cool control. It's easy to stash back in the console so peeping toms aren't tempted. It comes with a magnetic mount if you want to use that. Good luck!

Thanks, J - will check it out!

Sure - feel free to PM if you have any particular questions. I was frustrated with the lack of streaming tunes with my '07. Was surprised with how well this set up works considering the cost.

I can't recommend this little device enough if you have an older vehicle with an AUX and want to stream audio.

What attracted me to this particular model is the inclusion of an APTX codec for improved sound quality, which I believe is a unique feature at this price level, and it really is excellent. I have used similar devices over the years but nothing compares to the sound quality and ease of use of the HBO1 Plus. I have used it in several vehicles with excellent results and I was so impressed I bought a second just to have as a backup given the low price.

The included 12v USB charger even has 3 x ports, so you don't lose the ability to power other devices and the unit itself pairs instantly and as fast as my newer cars with factory Bluetooth.

This is as close to factory bluetooth audio you'll get. Many if not most of us here at CL went this way: https://www.vaistech.com/product/sl3b-l/

It works as advertised

+1 for the Vaistech products. I have one in each of my LS's and both have worked almost flawlessly.

Do you know if this product is compatible with 460's that did not come with factory NAV system?
