so true, i hate that mess the headlight washers make- it was 32+ that i got- to be honest i never cared what temp/color i am putting it in. We get ALOT of bugs in summer time and the area i am in is near state park and PIA to get these bugs off the car.

I did that once just walked in and grab a jug because I needed some for the house. Got home and when I looked at it closer it was the +32 version which I took back. I did not realize that wally world rotates from summer stock to winter stock. Anyway it works fine. To follow up on what SW17LS said in his post, if you push the headlight washer button it will cover your hood in windshield washer fluid and make a big mess. It won't do jack for your headlights but they will give your hood a nice spray.

I have found the easiest way to get the bugs off the LS is to have the wife wash it. She drives it 98 percent of the time so I figure she has more of a relationship with the bugs she killed and gives them more closure.

Na just kidding I run it through the car wash after using Turtle wax Bug and Tar remover on it first. The part that she drives it 98 percent of time is true.

On my 2011 I really have to be careful how harsh of a fluid I choose. If I pull the washer trigger to spray the windshield at night with my headlights on, it automatically does the headlight washers in addition to the windshield. I find it to be the most frustrating thing about the car. A total design flaw in my opinion. If I want my headlights washed I will push the washer button myself. Sometimes I just want the windshield. Totally ruins your paint as it doesn't absolutely nothing for the headlights and coats the entire hood with a fine mist of washer fluid. There really should be a way to turn off that feature.

Togally agree, I wonder if there is a fuse that we can pull out and sort of disables the headlight washers.

Nope. Only way is to disconnect them and tie off the tubes.

I would seriously consider that. I actually end up shutting my lights off for a quick second while stopped at a light to quickly clean my windshield to avoid it.
