ABS Error following Wheel Bearing Replacement

Hey guys,

Was doing a front/rear bearing replacement this weekend on my 2007 LS460L. Front went great and drove fine. Rear was a little more involved. I followed the following procedure https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/fo...-instructions/ , as I could not find one on our site.

I had already pulled the abs sensors, when I realized that I needed to have the parking brake on in order to get the axle nut removed. When I turned on the vehicle, I got the ABS, VSC, Brake malfunction error, but assumed they would clear once completed. Everything came off and new parts went back together just fine. Dash errors remained. Pulled the wheels, pulled the ABS sensors to verify and everything seems physically correct.

Questions…
1) Obviously, If I missed something, so if you read something I missed please let me know.
2) My OBD2 tool broke, so when my new one arrives, is it just a code reset?
3) I did place anti-seize on the splines and threads of the spindle, but don’t remember going farther in cv. Would this interfere with the sensor? I wouldn’t think so, but looking for anything I’ve missed.

So thanks for looking and let me know if you see something. Thanks

Well, after posting, I continued reading and found this...

That looks just like my problem. I will try this first, though I do not have TechStream, so hoping my Innova 3100i that I just ordered will work?

Hi ,
what was the current odo of your car? Have you changed the bearing anytime before? was there some sound at high speeds from the rear side of the car?

You can try resetting the battery terminal also to.reset the error messages.
