No, they're just different packages. All F800 Pro Dual Channels have the same features, all have GPS, cloud, low light modes, etc. Some packages include higher storage cards, some have the hardwiring kit, etc,

So you said the rear camera doesn't interfere with the rear sunshade? Seems like there isn't much room above/behind the sunshade to put a camera without it hitting every time the shade goes up and down? Is the rear camera just super small to be able to peek over the top of the sunshade at the very top of the window?

I have used my local Best Buy "Geek Squad" guys to install this sort of thing on my Lexus cars (I've come to trust the guy who does the installs). I spoke with him yesterday and he said he would charge $100 to install this system (front and back cameras). Seemed too cheap, but I do trust him to be careful with my Lexus, so I'll probably go for it!

The camera is really small, and I installed it all the way at the top of the glass against the headliner. The camera is round, so the sunshade just kind of slides behind it.

Thank you for the info steve. I will hold off on the dashcam for now. I'm actually getting bored with my LS... Reliable, comfortable... but bland... sigh!

SW17LS, this is a very nice camera install. I've been running a dash cam for a few years, and currently have one in the LS powered by the fuse panel as well. Mine is a much cheaper version (about $70) and I'd certainly like to upgrade, to include the rear camera. I have the same cheap camera in the wife's Tahoe which has broken it's mount a couple of times; currently secured to it's base with a hose clamp, tacky! Perhaps I'll try the new setup in the LS first. I have radar detectors hardwired in both up around the mirror as well, so will need to get the right configuration for both and not clutter up the windscreen.

Several months ago I picked up a few Roav C1 cameras on clearance at Walmart for $15 each. https://goroav.com/products/roav-dashcam
They included a Sandisk 32gb micro-SD card as well. I put one in all of my vehicles. When I had the center console out to hardwire my Redline I put a aux usb power plug in for the camera as well. Thankfully I've never needed anything but with the sheer number of idiots out on the road I think it's a very useful investment. Steve, your setup is great. I really like the idea of front and rear integrated cameras. Had I not stumbled onto these I would have done the same as you. First rate stuff.

Nice clean install!

Wow. Was not aware the EZ Pass could be mounted behind the dot matrix without functionality issues. Good to know & see.

I actually just ordered a pretty cool little silicone cover that goes around the EZ pass to make it black, I'll post pics of it once I get it,

I masked off the label and spray painted my EZ Pass flat black including the 3M tabs. Looks much better that way.

I was going to do the same thing, but this sounds a lot less messy.

I have something similar, but it's charcoal leather, so it matches the interior of my dash, for my I-Pass.

Can you guys post links to your tollway transponder covers? I'm really curious... I have a suction cup mount, but it rattles way too much & I normally only use it in rental cars. Thanks.

I’ve been looking at new cameras and have a question about plans with this type of deisgn. There isn’t a screen on these versions like some of the earlier dash cams. Obviously it looks more streamlined but you loose the ability to view a video replay which I feel like is something you’d want to be able to do at an accident scene. Are you planning to insert the SD card in a phone or other device to replay? Obviously some phones don’t have this capability or a plug in reader is required. So my ask to the forum is what’s the playback plan or do you have one? I don’t want to tell the cop, uh, I’ll get back to you. For mine that’s hardwired there’s no play in the cord so whoever is watching the video has to sit in the car and strain up near the mirror to watch; for this reason I carry the longer 12vt power cord in the car.
