Let's try again: Mat hooks, holes etc
So the plastic hooks... that hold the carpets in place. the hook into holes in the carpet... which is basically, a black metal ring,, that clamps into another metal ring underneath the carpet.. anyone had issues with this before.. had to replace them? my idiot car wash people always mess it up and my hooks come undone from the holes and pull out the rings...
if you had issues with this could you tell me what part number to order or how to replaced the rings and kept the hooks in place pls thanks |

Go to the link I provided when you first asked the question and plug in part number 64725-50140-CO and see if that is the part you need? Dennis |

that number doesn’t bring up anything on that site or lexuspartsnow and I’ve looked through and don’t see where I can find parts relating to the interior carpet area |

I bet you can get the bottom piece in by angling it a bit. make sure the top piece is snapped together first. The clips and grommet are made to stop the carpet from moving around at floor level and not straight up when some one removes the Mat.

Great. Let us know. Lexus said i needed new carpets with the grommets installed! The holes in the carpet are stretched. Im thinking about a hack to put a larger washer on the underside of the grommet, lift the carpet, and slide the (modified) grommet into place. Has anyone tried anything like this ??
