'17 LS460AWD New Never Titled FS
[Mods if this isn't kosher to post - nuke it.]
So, I've been shopping for a replacement for my '08 ls460 SWB. While looking, I found that Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly VA has a '17 LS460 SWB AWD still on the lot, never titled. I took it for a test drive. Rare find. It's not on their website. Stickers for $80k. Dealer is willing to deal into the mid-60's, but you may be able to do better.
Good luck!

Ugh sucks for them. Users on this forum are reporting of $16k-$17k discounts on leftover (but new) 2018 LS500's so a similar pricing discount on previous gen may not be attractive...

I got $23,000 off of my $90k stickered 2017 before the 2018s were even out, and that was in the DC area and not a car they had on the lot...

No idea what that car will sell for, but with the 500’s getting a pretty steep discount now, any 460’s left would need to be 25-30% off. I wouldn’t touch it for anything less. Same will happen if/when the LX is redesigned - all leftovers will get 20%+ off.

I wonder why it isn't on their website. Interesting find, but how many miles were on it? If the GM's wife has been driving it around for a year and it has 8k or something then I can't really see a big benefit in buying this over a CPO car which would actually have a longer warranty. Granted there are some slight differences in warranty coverage from the original factory and CPO, but not sure those differences would account for any reason to spend more. If it had 500 miles it would be more desirable.

i wouldnt. even though its still a "new" car, it really isnt new anymore. if its a 17 it was probably built summer of 17, and has been sitting for the last year & 1/2. probably lot rot to hell.....

A new car sitting on a lot for a year and a half is not going to cause any "rot" lol

Agreed on the discount thing tho. Pohanka Chantilly doesn't seem to deeply discount...or my negotiating skills aren't that great.

Pohanka is a PITA. They don't like to negotiate remotely, if you are in the dealer for 5 hours they promise it will be "worth it" and many times I've told them, sorry I'll save the 40 mile drive and go with one of the other 5 local dealers who will price negotiate over email and I know what I'll be getting when I spend my time to go in there.

Once parked my car immobile in summer in the open for 2 months, the car ended up having all bushings dry roted, all tires dry rot that needed to be replaced

Not buying it...this car will be fine.

Interesting comment - maybe their Lexus operation is different, but I had the opposite experience with their Honda store in VA in 2017. Got a great price quote on a '17 Accord at the end of the model year in the Fall of 2017 and they even offered to waive their (steep) doc fee when I balked at it. Now, this was all via email, so who knows what would have happened if I actually tried to conclude a deal.
