I was getting off work today and was at a yield waiting on traffic to pass, then my car just started shaking for about 20 seconds then eventually went back to normal. I never had that happen before, and I started to get a lil scared, because it felt like the ground was shaking under me. I wonder if it has to do with me not changing my air filter, because filter light keeps coming on every time I start the vehicle.

 

Have you bought gas anywhere unusual lately?

 

If your filter is severely clogged it could mess up the air/fuel mixture bad enough to cause a misfire which sounds like what you described.
