Broken side window.. without apparent cause.....
Woke up this morning to a cracked drivers door window..... top to bottom,... no apparent starting point/impact .... crazy wind noise while driving..... and the car was fine when I tucked it to bed last night in the garage.
Anyone ever experience a break like this ?
I have "full glass" coverage.... but I'm also anticipating the Ins co will want to use a third party to replace the panel... I'm sure its laminated glass..... anyone have luck replacing laminated side windows via third party ?
cheers.

Are you sure a family member or roommate didn't accidentally hit the window while they were getting something from the garage? If you live alone then it is probably ghosts. Sorry about the cracked window. If the wind noise is that bad then I guess laminated windows really does make a difference!

all family members completely innocent..... or so they claim ..
Cant get through to Insurance Company .... overload from Florence
xxx Autoglass , the ins company's preferred provider, does not offer laminated glass,.. at least not directly.....
Leaves me in a pickle..Do I have the dealer replace, and fight ins later..... ? Or wait for ins and hope the window doesn't fall out.
