If your brake pads are dragging on the rotors, that is not good. This will definitely cause uneven wear on the rotors, which will feel exactly like warped rotors during braking. Within just a few hundred miles your rotors will not have parallel surfaces and will need to be resurfaced. Most shops will not resurface slotted and drilled rotors so you’ll be looking at new rotors. The biggest cause of “warped” rotors is improperly torquing lug bolts, leading to slight tweaking of brake rotor. This in turn causes rapid uneven wear, which feels like warped rotors. See link below.

I was in similar dilemma looking at wheel bearings and ended up purchasing a Timken wheel bearing off Amazon (roughly $250).

I couldn't stand the thought of spending $400 for may be the same bearing but definitely wasn't gonna buy the cheapest one either.

I agree and seems like Timken has been the recommendation both on/off the board.

Ok, so here is an update... YES, I've still got some vibration. So to recap, I've Road Force Balanced my tires twice, turn my rotors, replaced my brake pads, and now my bearings. I'm at 70K miles.

I replaced all 4 wheel bearings, but did NOT go with Timken. I know sue me. I instead went with WJB Front L/R for $114 total compared to Timken $478, and SKF for the Rear for $82 total compared to Tiimken $324 total. The reason was, that I wasn't even sure I had a bearing problem, and I'd rather spend $233 w/shipping compared to $835. For that price, even if they last 50%-75% of a Timken, I could replace them 3.5Xwith WJB and still come out saving money. I change my bearings in vehicles at 100K-125K miles generally anyway (if I think about it). So, following the bearings (which only the front left was definitely bad and at least made the logic of the previous statement work). But my vibration problems did not clear up.

So what now? Axles, Drive Shaft, Transmission mounts, what? I got under and did my best at inspection of bushings and anything that would "look" suspicious, but at a loss.

I've had 4 mechanics drive and inspect it, but they have no answers. My nearest Lexus Dealer is 2 hours away, so that is my last move. I plan to drive to Park Place Lexus in Dallas (4.5 hours and where my Dad lives) to have them take pics in about 3 weeks and order my dash parts, as Jackson Lexus (2hrs) indicated that the program was expired. Don't want to deal with the latter. I'll let Park Place drive it and give me an opinion. Until then, I'll look to you guys and continue researching.

Appreciate any ideas.
