If you love your dog more than your car, then put the dog in the car. My 15 pound ball of fur has free reign although he prefers my lap. Or get one of those protectors as shown. My dog means more to me than a car. And I love my 460.

I don’t even eat or drink in my LS, let alone having a big dog destroy it.

It hangs over the lip of the seat about 6 inches so has very good coverage down to the carpet. The one area were it is a little short is up the back of the seat- I would say 6 inches short. I put some towels there. You really can’t pull it up more because the seatbelt holes would not align - not perfect but I can still use the trunk pass through without having to remove the car seats which is what was important to me.
I bought the same ones for two cars. I haven't cut the holes for the seatbelts yet. I was able to use the car anchors to fasten the two car seats without cutting the holes though. These seemed to be good quality for the price.

My seat protector had seatbelt holes that were pre-cut. I just needed to pull some Velcro apart that was keeping the precut hole closed. Was it the Weathertech one you had to cut holes in?

I bought the same ones as you did. Yes, I was able to pull the Velcro apart to use car anchors. But there was no Velcro on the outer part of the seat cover to utilize the outer car anchors, so I just folded the seat cover a bit and still able to fasten the car seats in.

Sorry I was mistaken. They have pre-cuts for the seatbelts. I was thinking of cutting the holes for the outer car anchors.
