Actually, you're close. My budget is 25000 and under. How likely do you think I'll be to me finding something in that range?

Between 20 - 25k. Less than that if possible.

Here is the one I was watching before I bought mine. It is one owner, no accidents. I haven't checked it out though but would have if I hadn't bought mine already. They have been slowly dropping the price. It has been sitting their since at least 2017 December. It is exactly like mine except mine is a 2011.

You're in the right neighborhood for 2012 or older. 2010 being your sweetspot for that pricepoint. I've seen some 2012's (in that link I posted) that were in that range, but I'm not really sure why that is....2009/2010 seems to be right around 20-25k at the moment.

Your budget puts you in the range of a 2011 or 2012. Now you need to decide a few more things... RWD or AWD? Options? Does color matter? Does it need to be something nearby to you that you can drive or are you willing to buy something from out of state? Personally when I was looking at possibly purchasing a 2012, I fell in love with the matte wood trim but they're harder to come by.

I really appreciate all this feedback of ideas. One of them is definitely gonna lead to me buying my first LS 460. Thanks!!

The wheel nor the drive is an issue with me. I can do either or.

I would do a little homework before you pull the trigger on one. There are things that you are going to find you care about or vice versa and you don't want to find that out after you own it.

With that budget, I'd look for a 2010+ LS460L rwd with Comfort Plus package and no airshocks. You can spot Comfort Plus package easily by looking at the door arm rest to see if it has leather stitched armrest pictured vs rubber. You can spot if it has air shocks if you see a "high height" button on the shift console. This combo is ultra rare. 2010-2012 models seem to cut down on leather armrests. I rarely see it when I do searches. It would be a deal breaker for me since I am used to having Comfort plus. I don't have to worry about melting crumbling rubber arm rests

Nizzy, if you go to the top of this forum and click on the sticky titled FAQ and DIY, you will see a section on "model descriptions and differences". You might find this helpful. There is also a lot of other topics covered which could help you make an informed decision.

Think I'm going to go look at this one for myself on Saturday. I've been looking at 2013 MY but this one checks the boxes except for the Blind spot monitoring which has been on my must have list. Still have hesitations on the RTC interface for the 2013. And I've never driven a LWB before. Any thoughts on other feature differences between 2011 v 2013?

That 2011 LS460L looks pretty nice! I just bought a very similar 2010 460L AWD in the Smoky Granite Mica color (LOVE it!). I really do prefer the matte wood interior. The 2011 doesn't have the air ride suspension, which is a Plus for some people (for long-term savings). It also lacks the DRCC, which is probably no big deal to you. I personally prefer the exterior and interior look of the pre-2013 models, although I see the utility in the BSM system. Some of my cars have had BSM, but nearly 40 years of driving makes me double-check the side mirrors whenever I change lanes whether I have BSM or not, so it's a bit of a waste for me.

I paid $21,600 from my local Lexus dealer on my nearly identical 2010 with 91k miles, so the price seems about right for a 2011. Hope it checks out! Good luck!
