In Canada the extended warranty is only for power train so it is worthless. So CPO or not does not make big different.

I think the lane lane keep assistant is only for the LWB.

When I was searching for mine I did not see any with the LKA on the market for at least 5 months.

So so if you really need it, it will be hard to find.

I do agreee let your dad test drive one before buying it if this is not a gift with surprise.
Thanks, YES, it does NOT seem to have LKA... nor Advanced precollision warning. It does have Technology package which includes: Precollision System, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear cross traffic alert. Now, WHAT is the difference between precollision system and "Advanced precollision" system?! What I am looking for, is if he's not paying attention and a car stops in front, his car to react and slow down and brake for him. Is that included?

PCS or APCS will slow down your car if collision is imminent when the vehicle speeds are above 5 mph. The difference between the two is the sensors used to detect collisions. For PCS, only the radar behind the L on the grille is used. This sensor is also used for the adaptive cruise control, which your car should have. The APCS also employs the stereo cameras for detection. I am attaching the pages from my manual describing the system.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the help, we'll be buying a 2013, with PCS, with only 15K miles (25K Km), looks mint. It is not F-sport, BUT it has Air Suspension and basically all of the other options.

I have one last question, what software upgrades does it need if any? Like to upgrade the systems, navigation, etc... When was the last map released?

Thanks

Congrats! He will love it.

Nav updates happen every October.

Thanks, so latest update is Oct. 2017 map update?

What about actual Software update for the car? I know it's not usually done, but for sure some updates/firmwares been released since then.

They do stuff from time to time in terms of updates, but I’ve nwver had any of my cars regularly updated. If you ask a dealer they can check if any are outstanding.

I assume you already purchased the vehicle you were looking at for your dad, but I just happened to run across this new listing in my search.
