I saw the DYI forum, but that was too complicated for me to follow
I have a remote start installed by the dealer that works with the Lexus keyfob. It turns off when opening the door, but I don't see any particular benefit to one that turns off when applying the brake. In both cases, one has to restart the car before being able to drive off, so it doesn't matter whether you restart immediately after entering the car or when you shift out of Park. I don't think installing a remote start should affect warranty, but you could consult your Platinum VSA or ask Toby.

I have 35% on all windows, and the rear is 20%. You could go with what Steve just installed on his 2017 car.

TIA
There are a number of mods out there - Mudguards, Lloyd Luxe carpet mats, dead pedal mod, full LED interior and trunk lights, Lexus logo puddle lights, black grille, etc. I have done several of these. There are threads describing all of these mods.

Since your car has extensive service records, any map updates would have been done at a dealership and show up on your Lexus Driver site. Being a 2014 car, I think it is unlikely to have been updated. Map updates are available only thru the dealer, and $300 seems about right.
What you want is to be able to mirror your iPhone to the Nav screen. I have installed the Beatsonic kit that does just this. Check out these threads on this topic.
