Default 2014 LS460 F-Sport

Hello...

Thanking everyone ahead of time.
I have an opportunity to buy my neighbors 2014 LS460 F-Sport.

What are any weak areas? Known issues with that year LS?
The F-Sport package?
Is the variable suspension solid or problematic?

I'm going through the forums - but I thought I'd tap into the experts here.

Thanks!!!

I've owned a 2013 F-Sport since Oct of last year and I haven't had any issues. The air suspension works fine.
I definitely like the "sporty" look of it, even though it's no faster lol. If the price is right go for it. You won't be
disappointed.

Default F Sport

I also have owned a 2013 F Sport since August last year. I have only had to do general maintenance on mine. I did replace all the brakes on it (Pads and rotors) and upgraded them to drilled and slotted to give it a little better look. The brakes are my biggest complaint. I understand that they put them on there because of the F Sport, but they are surely touchy brakes. Took a while to get used to for sure!!

Everything else is awesome on the car. No issues whatsoever. If the price is right and it has been cared for, you cannot go wrong.

The brakes are grabby even on the non-F-Sport, but easily corrected with aftermarket options. The F-Sport grill does look nice. Why is your neighbor selling it?

Thanks one and all...nice to know there are no 'issues' I need to concern myself with.

Neighbor has plenty of discretionary $$ and like to flip out of some cars quick - some he keeps for a while.
The 2014 460 F-Sport is as flawless as a 3 year old car can be.

Just turned past 20,000 miles - Ultra White, the two tone flaxen / black (or is it called saddle / black??) interior...
F-Sport comfort package, Levinson radio, blind spot monitor, LED Headlamps... it's RWD (did they come AWD??)

He even just put on new tires...Continental Extremecontact DWS 06.

All I need to do is add fuel and enjoy!

Grabby brakes eh?
Hummm..nothing else?

I just bought my 2013 F-Sport in December. I'll agree the brakes are pretty sensitive, but I like it. You want to stop, you stop NOW. I would recommend the F-sport package, I like the upgraded brakes (aside from the brake dust anyways), the air suspension and the lowered ride height, 19" wheels along with the styling changes. Its not any faster, but it does look meaner.

Price-wise, I had a dealer down to 42K for an L-Certified 2014 F-Sport with 45k miles on it, but I opted for a 2013 F-sport (different dealer) with 30k miles that I got into at 39k. Hope that gives you some idea of what you should look at price-wise for the car.
