Whistling noise from moonroof
I have whistling noise coming from the moonroof on a 2014 LS460. I can only hear it when the stereo is off and I'm moving at speeds above 70mph. Do you guys think the dealer would fix this under the factory warranty?

If you're under the warranty, for sure they will.
If you want to try to address it yourself, I would open the moonroof, clean the seal well and clean the roof panel around the opening well, and treat the seal with Shin-Etsu grease. My guess is that will solve it.
While you're at it treat ALL your seals. You'll notice a difference.

I cleaned the seal and it solved the problem. The weird part is that the seal wasn't even that dirty. I mean, it didn't seem like there was enough dirt to create an opening for the whistle noise, but I guess there must have been something there.
