Angry 2007 LS460L sticky dash HELP

Looking for help. Just purchased a 2007 LS460L from a family friend with 17k miles on it. After about 2 weeks the dash has become very sticky. Called Lexus and was told that the warranty expired on May 31st 2017. The car looks like it just rolled off the dealer lot and was garaged kept since new. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Check aout an auto-uphostery place and see if there's anything they can do for you. What about other vinyl areas on the car and the door armrests?

Maybe but it looked ok to me and it kept the glare off the inside windshield. Guess soon as this car sat outside for 15mins it went to goo.

Elderly lady bought it in 2007 new, and only drove it a couple times a week to the market. Until I got it, it had never even been on a FWY. The dealership couldn't believe the condition it was in. Still look like a brand new car except for the dash

Crazy! You hear jokes about little old ladies. Post a few photos if you can.

Default sticky dash.

I have an 07 LS460 and the dash is leather, I assume yours would be as well. Sounds like somebody treated it with the wrong product. Try some good leather cleaner on it. Hope it works.

Most LS460 dashes are vinyl. Leather wouldn't do this.
