I don’t think there’s a thread specific to this install. I’ve pieced together how to do it with different threads on here. I’ll be attempting the fronts again this weekend and will try to provide some feedback.

I didn’t have the right tools to get the upper control arms off.

It wasn’t too difficult once you have the right tools. I ended buying a ball joint separator and a large hammer from Harbor Freight. I decided to use the hammer to remove the upper control arms from the knuckle because the opening on the ball joint separator wasn’t wide enough so I didn’t want to damage the boot. I first removed the lower bolt, then the control arms and finally the 3 nuts up top. I’m not sure if removing the stabilizer link will help drop the lower control arm more to help with removing the strut but I was able to drop it enough to squeeze the strut between the 2 upper control arms. You want to have a bungee cord or something to help support the knuckle as leaving it loose will put a lot of stress on the brake line. A second set of hands would also be helpful so that you can line up the coilover and put the 3 nuts up top. I’m probably going to pay a shop to do the rear coilovers as that requires removal of the backseat. Hope this helps.

Just an update: if you remove the stabilizer bar link it will allow you to lower the knuckle to aid in removing the strut.

Which coilovers did you go with?
