Default Need Susp advice/Lexus Tech or pay up

2007 LS460 LWB here, 140k on it, still rides decent, had the forward lower control arm done about 6 months ago, rear lower is knocking now so I want to suck it up and do the rest of the arms as well as the ball joints. As we all know the price at the dealer is ridiculous. I understand mechanics need to make money and I'm okay with that, but up-charging me 300$ for a control arm, that I can source on rock auto for 75$ is nonsense. And with 140k, the talk about offering a warranty seems silly, I dont care about it. I have posted in the So Cal section as well for alternatives and got some leads, but most shops want to use their parts with some even saying only OEM they will use. I feel totally comfortable with labor for the work, just would rather source the cheaper parts at this point. Was thinking about hitting up a Lexus Tech for some offline work as well, wasn't sure if that was legit or not. I also would need a place with a lift, I found only one public rental service in all of so cal which isnt surprising. Any ideas on how to go about getting this done? If not, I think I will just drive the car until it goes and then get rid of it at this point, as I dont feel its worth 3500k to invest in, as the shocks seem okay but they have been leaking or some time now as well, more money!

Keep looking - there are plenty of mechanics out there who will install your parts for you. You may be lucky and find a dealership tech who will do this on the side.
