2013-2016 LS460L manheim prices
Hi all,
Does anyone have any info on the recent manheim prices for a 2013-2016 LS460L? Seems a bit hard to figure a true market value with there being a relatively large price gap between what most dealers are asking and the average of KBB/NADA/Edmunds suggested retail. So either the profit margin is huge or there is a lot of wiggle room in the asking price.
Thanks

Pole Position
I was looking to buy another GMC 1500 truck a couple months ago and while my 2011 loaded LS has a KBB trade value of $24k the sales manager (who I know) told me manheim was about $21k for my car and thats all they'd offer me. Seemed pretty low to me and pretty sure I could sell my car on my own for $26-$27K so I passed.

Manheim prices are typically about $1,500 less than the lowest KBB.com prices for a ‘Private Party’ seller. A dealer usually gets about $2,000 more than a private party.

Something to keep in mind about used car prices is that it is quite a rigged racket owned by *** Enterprises.
*** Enterprises, Inc. is a privately held American conglomerate based in Atlanta. *** is also a communications and automotive services company. The company owns newspapers, television stations, radio stations (all three being owned by *** Media Group), *** Communications, Manheim Auctions, AutoTrader.com, Kelley Blue Book, Savings.com and Valpak.
