Default automatic side mirror doesn't fold (driver side)

Dear All,
I just bought a september 2007 Lexus LS 460 with only 115000 km +/- 71450 miles)
First of all what a super car, drives so good and so silent and all systems (except one) work perfect leather looks like new..
So glad that my father convinced me to buy a Lexus.
Now I just noticed one (small) problem: the driver side mirror doesn't fold (not automatic but also not when I use the swith).
The passenger mirror works properly.
Maybe one of the fuses?
Don't now which fuse to check to manual is quit complicated...
Hope that someone can help me out

Check your fuse boxes for fuses labelled FR RH Door. I don't know what this fuse controls as it's not labelled in any more detail. If that doesn't work, try looking for anything labelled which might relate to this mirror. Does the mirror adjust (L/R, U/D_ switch work?

I had to same problem with my driver's side mirror but it wasn't small. The dealer had to replace the mechanical parts and it ended up costing almost $1000 to repair.

I didn't realize this thread was soooooo old until after writing this. This might help someone in the future.

There are a lot of pictures posted in different sections of my thread over here.

The part to fix the folding issue only cost $30 or so. Depending on your skill level it might be best to have someone else tackle all or a portion of it.

This is how I installed the new part. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...l#post10999864

I ordered this one. $41

I think these might be the same. $23.00

A less likely cause could be a bad multiplex controller in the door. If all of the left drivers door and mirror functions are working correctly, including the door and mirror lighting, I would assume the multiplex controller is not the issue.

I did the motor replacement on a 08 600 today. It's not too easy. Having to unpin the connector is fiddly and requires good before pics. The connector splits into three pieces, then just push the tab on the now exposed pin.
