Ls460 won't start after slightly flood

My LS 460 is flooded in garage, I'm sure the water only goes into crew compartment and water level in the car is not very high ( about 2 inch from floor ) I believe that there is no water in engine or any electronic components. But the car won't start, and the remote key doesn't work as well. So the reason that the car won't start is simply because the battery died or any other mechanical issue? Thanks!

Check the battery first, no use speculating until you've done that.

You really need to be a little more specific. When you say it won't start, do you mean when you press the START button the engine turns over but the engine won't run, or nothing happens?

Yes, do the interior light/speedometer/tach, etc come on when you press the start button? If so, does the engine turn over but not fire?

Flood damage is usually a "Total loss" experience from an insurance standpoint.

Like others, sorry to hear about the flood impact to you and your family. Hope everyone is safe and sheltered until the rebuilding can happen.

When you mention "2 inches from the floor", do you mean from the bottom of the car or that there is 2-inches of water inside the cabin? If inside the cabin, wouldn't that submerge or short out the ECU beneath the seat? At 2-inches, it probably wouldn't seep into any of the fuse panels.
