No, just did the seals.

Don't forget the little seals in front of the front doors, and the seals in front of the back doors.

I used to do this on my LS430 every 6-8 months, I still have plenty. This stuff really helps.

It's good stuff. A little goes a long way so apply a very thin layer and spread around as much as possible. Your seals should feel nice and supple afterwards. I bought my tube years ago and I still haven't gone through half of it.

Is a gloved hand sufficient? Or do you think a small paintbrush would work better? Tube just arrived and will be trying it on the wife's car first to practice.

EDIT: Nevermind, just finished applying it to the wife's 2006 ES with a gloved hand. Went around the door as well as the rubber it contacts with on the body. Really quick, probably was in the sweltering garage for no more than 15 minutes. Can't wait to apply it to the LS. The real test will be if the wife mentions on her own that her car seems quieter, as I did not tell her Shin-Etsued her car. Surprisingly, her 11-year-old rubber seals were still supple and pliable before I started. Didn't do the sunroof yet as I was already drenched from sweat in the short time I was in the garage. We have a little bit of a heatwave in central California with the next few days forecasted to be 109 degrees.

ordering this now. Does it need to soak into the rubber you close the doors, trunk, etc?

It doesn't seem like it needs to soak. Looks a lot like white lithium grease. Just rubs on and you're good to go. I closed the doors a few times and no issues.

I found this stuff about two years ago...I had a 98 NSX targa..and depending on the weather had minor squeaks. Applied grease...and presto....squeaks were gone.

This is an excellent preservative for rubber!

Doesn't seem to be a big deal to wait for it to soak in

I've used DuPont Krytox but Shin Etsu is cheaper.

So it's not clear? Does it go clear after you apply it or does it stay white?

It'll go clear. Just use a very small amount - it goes a long way. I wear a pair of disposable latex gloves and just spread it evenly on all the rubber seals.

Wow! I am ordering this today. I was just noticing some annoying wind noise the other day. Thanks!
