im working on a vip ls build so heres my issue , as part of the deal with my wife im not to mod the car for a whole year minus rims and tires,( due to all the money ive dumped in all my other projects) so within the first month ive had 3 sets of rims .i know i have a problem ..so i figure a loop hole would be to make little sutle changes and mods that she wouldnt notice, so im looking for ideas of sutle mods

Throw a set of exhaust vents on the car...... Inexpensive mod and Oliver Enterprises is great to deal with PLUS he will never tell your wife about your "modding addiction."

Be straight up with her. If she loves you enough she will say YES. However, with 3 sets of wheels in 1 month, even your parents (who love you to death) would say NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I buy a set them i find another style i like and i sale the old ones so i try to have the other ones gone first...and loves not the problem...she comes from a car family amd since we have been married ive had a 69 dodge dart turbo , 350z track car , 55 chevy 3100 bagged , ducati 996 , strecthed zx10 drag bike and other buy and flip projects...she is just over me being in "i cant keep amything stock zone" ..

My my suggestion is to "Man Up" and take control of the car...... Baffle her with technical jargon that will make her head spin and convince her that the "modding" will increase gas mileage!

best idea yet..ill tell her that air runner puts air into the atmosphere everytime it airs out , hence saving air for the babies of the future...

Here I was trying to think of a good mod, and this didn't even cross my mind till Chuck brought it up! And hells yeah, this is one cheap mod you will LOVE, and cheap (in comparison to the things you have and/or are doing). And ... 2 things, 1) You will LOVE the sound of these 4.6L's, and 2) It will set your LS apart from all other LS's you will run across (unless of course they're running the Exhaust Vents also (not much chance of that)).

However, if you prefer to go to a Celine Dion concert and listen to her sing with a folded pair of socks in her mouth (that's what the OEM mufflered LS sounds like in comparison), maybe Exhaust Vents are not for you...
