Although I doubt it's possible, is there any way to ask the dealership to lengthen the track for the driver's seat so it can go back further?
Or possible allow the front of the seat to tilt up more?
I have long legs (I'm 6 feet tall, but my legs are very long, especially below the knee, and cars like the Camry and Avalon are completely deficient in legroom for me. So this is not a deficiency per se in the LS, it's just me personally).
It barely fits me with the seat all the way back and tilted up completely, but I'd love some more range from these adjustments.
I guess this would be a modification, but I'd be willing to pay for it.

You could have someone fabricate a bracket between the tracks and where the tracks bolt to the floor, I doubt a dealer would do it, but an independent or metal fabrication/machine shop could.

Short of adjustable pedals, perhaps you can replace the OEM brake and gas pedals with thinner aluminum pedals. Maybe that might grant you the little bit of extra room needed?

A dealer certainly wouldn't do it (for liability reasons). If the floor is flat, you may be able to relocate the holes for the track a couple of inches (although, again, the existing holes are probably in a reinforced section of the floor pan). How tall are you, anyway???

I'm only 6 feet tall, but a lot of my height is in my legs. Plus my feet are size 13/14 and pronate outwards and downwards.
(A podiatrist once said my feet/ankle structure was sort of deformed and that I was a candidate for orthotics.)

So the floor-based accelerator which is very vertical and I think closer to you than on some other cars which makes me need more legroom.
I have a foam cushion that I use that solves the problem (and also protects the seats which is good). But I'd rather not sit on a cushion if I don't have to.
For the record, I had a similar issue in my former Mercedes E-classes of 2 generations.
So I am in no way criticizing Lexus for this, it's my personal body issues.
[I'm curious and waiting to see if the new generation 2018 LS has more room.]

Even a Toyota Sequoia I sat in was a little tight for me with the seat all the way back.
Ha-ha, a Chevy Yukon Denali fit me just fine. But I didn't want to drive around in 3 tons of steel when I never have more than my wife and me and a few grocery bags in the car.
The Hyundai Equus fit me, but I did not want Rear Wheel Drive.

I had some bad skids in the snow/ice (a complete 180 once) in my old RWD cars (and even on in a front-wheel-drive). My AWD cars have always been rock solid in snow. Maybe it was my fault or driving error, but it was enough to make me go for AWD whenever possible and avoid RWD completely.
I'm open to counsel or advice on this. Thanks for any comments.

As for my original legroom question, things have gotten better with a relatively small tweak:
I employed a big thick 2-sided-with-pocket sheepskin seat pad that covers the whole seat (including the thigh support) and stuffed a smaller sheepskin pad inside it at the front edge, raised the thigh support to max and now I am fine.
I would still like the seat to tilt up further, but I'm good to go now. I also had to just get used to the seating after 8 years in a Benz S-Class, so part of this is just adapting psychologically on my part.
It's like with new headphones or speakers.

It's very interesting that you say you don't fit comfortably. I'm 6'3" and very short in the torso also. My wife who is 5'6" sits higher than me in the same chair. Cars areally a bit tough for me also, but a vehicle as big as the LS is interesting. I've always exclusively driven SC300's for 11 years and was always comfortable. Even when I switched to a '00 Q45 I had a lot of room. I wonder what your seating position is like.
