Default LS...a refuge from shelter at home...?

Dear colleagues...I hope you are safe and well. Being a member of a high risk group, susceptible to Covid, I find myself home just about all the time, not a bad thing, but I reach my emotional limits due to confinement and my medicine until a vaccine comes along, seems to getting in my LS...turning on the heated seats, steering wheel, and turning up Mark Levinson....heading to the highway, taking in the quality and quietude...the privilege of this great car. Such a tonic. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you Lexus for creating a superior rewarding product

One suggestion I have for you - get a charcoal cabin filter for your car if you can. You cannot be too careful these days.

I actually drove less this year, in main part due to all car events being cancelled. One the bright side when I did go out there was no traffic!

Dont live in fear guys , the numbers are greatly inflated and the media is hammering the propaganda in daily

the CDC has admitted only 6% of the 220 000 american deaths are actually listed as covid on the death certificates

Even the little puppet boy Dr Fauci admitted there is a 99% survival rate (its actually even much higher then that, closer to 99.8%)

China only had 4500 deaths in a tightly packed country of 1.4 billion people , pandemic ? Not even close , not by those numbers.

The PCR testing was never intended to diagnose covid, it even says so on some of the boxes , it produces lots of false positives, some say 50-90%, these false positives are labeled "asymptomatic cases"

The rapid tests are even worse then the PCR tests

I understand some want to be safe then sorry, but dont let anyone bully or pressure you into living in fear

Don't tell what to do, I will not tell me where to go. You live in Canada, mind own business.

you started it, the OP is talking about covid, and i was also talking about covid, so stick to the topic or go stick your head in the sand like youve been doing your whole life.

The topic is not COVID, the topic is that you can enjoy your time in the car during COVID safely. As far as I'm concerned the topic is still LS460 so stick to it or go create your own thread.

On the topic:
I do love to take the car for a ride or sometimes I just go to a park, beach or a lake and work from the car the whole day. It's comfortable, quiet and ML sound definitely creates a nice "office" environment. Glad your LS also brings you some joy when you don't need to go anywhere.

The OP's is explaining how COVID has disrupted his life and routine so much that he is forced to live like a recluse , away from people and society, one of his few Joy's left is taking a drive alone. (Not knocking him he has every right to do do , especially since he is in the high risk category)

I'm merely forwarding some facts for him to see and maybe it will ease his worry a bit.

Why dont you offer some advice or help instead of pushing your Stockholm syndrome on the rest of us ?

Have you seen OP asking for advice or help?
Where have you seen anyone pushing anything to you? The only person pushing their agenda here is you.
Regarding reading comprehension - you clearly have none. Not only did you not understand the point of this topic, but your ignorance and conspiracy theories are driving you to get into arguments with people who try to stick with the topic here.
Nobody asked you for your "facts". They are false, misinterpreted and not needed.

Again, stick to the topic or go read/watch your conspiracy theories and share them on the conspiracy theories forums, not on Lexus LS forum. Last I checked this forum is called Club Lexus and this section is dedicated to LS - 4th Gen (2007 - 2017).

It's time for some of that now...

1WILLY1, please exit this thread. No need to turn a thread with a nice sentiment into a political and antagonistic / rude conversation.

Other folks, let's get back on topic please. EDIT - if you want to discuss COVID-19, we have a large thread in the Clubhouse forum but please read the introductory posts with rules before posting in it. We do NOT allow political content on Club Lexus.
