Congrats on the S7. Audi makes a mean machine. I had a manual transmission S5 as a 3rd car that I had for a year and just sold a couple months back. About 2 days before I sold it I tried the "dynamic" driving mode and took a highway entry ramp and accelerated well into triple digits while maneuvering some turns. It was absolutely incredible how effortless the car handled on that mode. If I hadn't committed to the person who was flying in own to buy the car, I probably would've kept it a while longer after discovering how crazy that setting was. I was actually mad at myself that I waited so long to try it (I always drove in "comfort mode").

I also felt that the car was light years ahead in technology and interior layout - it was a 2010 which is the same year as our LX570 and my 460L. You'll get used to the placement of buttons like the volume ****- I actually grew to like them but had to learn the layout a bit since I've been driving Japanese brands (Nissan and Toyota) since I was 20.

The only things I didn't like about my Audi were:
- I thought the seats were really hot in the summer. With AC at full blast I would still sweat like crazy in that car- my S5 had the "tuscan brown" leather interior and it didn't have the perforations to allow for air flow through the seats. It was a 2010 though, so I'm sure they have changed things.
- There were some strange electrical glitches with the B&O amp at times. Luckily it didn't go bad, but it would've run me $4k if it did (and my car had no warranty).
- Due to no warranty, I lived in a constant state of fear about some sort of 4-digit repair bill. And I only drove the car about 100 miles/month.

You're covered under warranty so no sweat off your back.

There's no comparison in the styling (in and out) and thrill of driving that S7 versus an LS. And ride quality is subjective, so I understand how some people think the Audi would be smoother than the LS over bumps, etc. I have easy access to driving an A7 and find it to be a really smooth car on any road surface, especially in "Comfort" mode as you noted.

Hope you enjoy it.
