Menu/Setup/Voice/volume 0-7 Try number 1 so you still get a murmur during other
functions beside Navigation. Also recall that you can quickly mute/pause Audio by
pressing and holding the steering wheel "Mode" button. You can then hear the low
volume nav command when needed. Press Mode long again to resume play. This
whole approach is best when you want to follow the blue line.
If you are going to take a break from your route but don't want to delete/re-enter the stops
then go to Show on Map and press "Pause Destination". Shuts her up completely and
the blue line disappears. Get caught in a Big City freeway mix up? Tap Show on Map
and "Resume Destination" is right where Pause was and light her up fast...
