Default Aftermarket headlight options for 07

Looking to see if their are any aftermarket headlights available? I keep finding rear tailights and the ls600 are more than I wabt to spend unless they have come down in price?

Nothing as of yet, unless you want to go the retro fit custom headlight way (I had this done on my GS). This will still be way less expensive than the LS600HL headlight route.

Maybe even opening them up and blacking out the inside. Does anyone know how hard is it to do on a ls460? The 2nd gen GS was simple.

no, you need the whole front end (hood, grill, lights, fenders, foglights and bumper). Someone I know did it, and it is no worth it. It devalued the car.

Clearing them is all fine, but if you don't put a UV protectant coat on top they will yellow again in very short order. Spending money on a decent protectant would be your best bet.

A recent post I made in the picture thread

Happy with the results of the NuLens kit with my Makita, and with the OptiLens hopefully it's the last time I have to do it. Still plenty of the protectant leftover as well. The Meguiars products are unrelated to the headlight resto, but made the interior feel like new again

Correct 2010-2012 Headlights will not fit without a new bumper(grill, fogs) but you won't need new fenders or a hood. There's a few people on the CL boards who have done the conversion with just swapping the headlights and bumper.

Not sure I'd count them as "aftermarket" but there are a handful of options from japan from those who have already modified the OEM headlights to incorporate added LED boards and halos.

MrMark on the forum here has a set:

Have you checked e-bay? They are running $500 - $1000 for a new OEM headlight ($1000-2000 for a pair). DON'T buy used ones - they all have something "chipped" or "broken off" ("but they stiil work just fine" - yeah, right!)

Not exactly the same as what was posted above, but still one-off production nonetheless. Price is subjective to seller. These headlights are modified factory headlights, so they will fit with no modifications.
