Hello there,

I am looking at a 2011 LS460 with 93k miles. The rear seat is really rough. It has a tear in it. Not sure if it's repairable. Would seats from earlier year fit the 2011? I search in the lexus web site, there is very little maintenance history there. The body looks Okay. The current owner says there was some scratch in the rear bumper which had been fixed. Given this, what's do you think it's a fair price for it? Thanks in advance for your time.

I got $18.5K plugging the average car into KBB, but you could probably get a better idea putting in all the particulars, and try Edmunds as well.

I would say ~$25k, depending on condition for a private party sale. Unfortunately, the tear in the rear leather is a big deal. I believe the seats are the same in the 2007-2012 but it would probably be cheaper to get the seat recovered. $1000 -$1500 for leather, $500 for vinyl. You could try a repair but it probably won't last. Given the time and grief to get it fixed yourself, I'd knock off $2000-$3000 whatever the otherwise fair market value is.

Personally, it doesn't sound like this vehicle was maintained very well unless you know the service history of it. Unless fully loaded, there are many many examples to choose from out there. I took 6 months to find the right vehicle for me and didn't regret it one bit.
