Fuse for the Rain sensing wipers
Where is the fuse for the rain sensing wiper sensor located. My wipers work but the rain sensing doesn't. When the switch is placed in Auto, the blades stroke once and nothing else. This is when it's pouring rain. I live in Oregon and this feature or at least intermittent is almost required. Any help is appreciated.

[QUOTE=teedub21;9834393]The auto rain sense wipers on this car are a joke. Wish I just had the old manual delay adjust.[/QUOTE
I agree the rain sensing wipers are different even when you adjust it.

Mine have always worked great the harder it rains the faster it goes. Sometimes I turn off the Auto just because they go more than I think they should.

Not sure about the fuse but I do know this. If you unplug the rain sensor on the windshield, it will revert back to being a standard adjustable wiper. I had an issue when I had my windshield replaced and the epoxy that held the sensor bracket on failed. I unplugged it and the wipers worked as they do on a normal car. I don't have any pictures now of how to remove it but it's easy. There is a U shaped plastic clip that pulls downwards. That releases the trim.
Good luck!

The auto wipers on my 08 work perfectly as do the ones on my wifes 2012 CT200. You do have to adjust the sensitivity setting on the stalk, but once adjusted they should work as they should.

Compared to my Audi, they're not great. But overall they seem to work just fine - I leave them on auto 98% of the time. Sometimes it almost feels like the sensitivity settings don't work but they do work it's just that the thresholds are very narrow. I do find it despicable that when it rains and the wipers are activated the headlights don't turn on

They work about the same as on the LS430 for me, for the most part they are good, but, some very heavy rain it does not go fast and then I just override them.

I just prefer manual adjust. My BMW's were the only cars that the auto wipers seemed to work well on. My Cadillac CTS-V had auto wipers and they were mediocre at best. Not as bad as the Lexus but not great.

If you hate them, go to the dealer or go on ebay and buy Techstream with the cable to use on a laptop. You'll be able to disable it or change all the little features. Use a old laptop and a $15 cable and problem done.

I've got the Carista but it won't go that deep in programming. Keep reading you can unhook the sensor and they default to standard adjustable delay.

Hmph, I've never seen that in fake Techstream.
I'll have to re-dig through there. I think my LF strut decided to go back to regular height, too.
edit: W00T!!!! LF air strut is back to behaving as it should. It looks truly odd being at full-height, on height high, when the other three are dropped a bit.
