I like those as well and in like 75,000 miles when these MXM4's need replacing, it will be those or P7's. Sadly was too North now for PS2's and of course utterly absurd choice for this car.

The wife's LS460 needed tires.... The original Continentals lasted all of 33K and were wearing on the inside as well. An alignment was recommended. Retained the 235/50/18 size.

Considered the P7s but like Michelin via Costco. Waited for the sale and wanted the Pilot MXM4s (the 50K warranty model) but they were out entirely and ended up with the Primacy MXM4s instead.

The alignment was straight forward. Interestingly the alignment shop owner/operator suggested to keep the air pressure at 37 to 38 psi (which is what Costco had filled them to) as best for the wife's 70-30 around town / highway usage. The ride is nice and quiet but it's only been a few days....

The Primacy is a much better tire than the Pilot anyway.

I wouldnt run those pressures. You’ll be shocked by how much better the ride will be at lower pressures. Door pressure is 33, I run 30-31.

i just had mine in for service and they aired them to 37, the difference when I aired them back down was really significant.

I replace my original bridgestones with Bridgestone turanza serenity plus and the have been great tires. have 50000 miles and over 5 years old and still have about 5/32 left. looking for new tires but not sure about p7s, have read some bad reviews. might stick with serenity or try drive guard. anyone have Bridgestone drive guards on their Lexus

With anything there are some bad reviews. Overwhelmingly though the reviews of the P7s are excellent, and my experience has been great. Have you read the reviews of the Serenity? Lots more negativity there than with the P7s.

How are the Pirelli tires compared to Michelin Primacy in the snow? I am looking for a smooth and quiet tire that can handle some snow. My car is AWD.

Great, thanks. How do they handle bumps and how is the road noise? Seems that most people prefer them over the Primacy. I think it is between those two tires for me.

Default Don't usually shop with Wal-Martians but...

Some unscrupulous person handling my car between it's last owner and the eventual dealer I bought it from put these on my car:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/235-50R18...Tires/55376725

...and they're surprisingly good.
No, I'm not in early stage dementia, they just roll quiet as can be and when I push them in the twisties I haven't been able to get them to misbehave in the slightest. $87 each here in Central Coast California.

If they last well and don't turn ridiculously, horribly noisy in mid-life like my last two sets of tires on my 5-series BMW did (Michelin Pilot Sport and Conti Extreme-Contact DW), I might even buy another set. I'm certainly not impressed with Continental or Michelin...

Besides, how can you go wrong with a name like Dimax Radar ???

Now the problem is just finding someone willing to go into Wal-Mart on my behalf...

It's funny you mention cheap tires because I'm in the middle of a cheap tire experiment and it's gone surprisingly well. Got tired of buying Pirelli's and having them melt off my car in 20,000 miles, and becoming noisy halfway there. Bought Milestars for whatever they were...maybe $75 a tire. Well 25,000 miles later and they still are quiet and smooth, and with plenty of tread left. I'm venturing into new territory here...never made it past 22,000 miles with any other tire on this car. It's like I've died and gone to tire heaven.
