2010 Lexus LS 460 - Bluetooth (no media)
I can connect my Android to my 2010 Lexus LS 460 via Bluetooth and can place and receive a call. However, I can't play media from my Android. It almost looks like my car requires a USB cable. Is the 2010 Lexus equipped to play wireless media?

The BT link will only play audio files and podcasts etc from your smartphone. For playing video or images you need a system like GROM vLine or a Beatsonic mirroring kit. You also have to buy AV cables to connect the phone to the kit.
You can certainly use the same device for both, you just have to pair that device for both calls and for audio playback.
Yes, you can use the phone and listen to audio (Pandora etc.) using BT at the same time. Naturally, when you use the phone, the audio from the App will be interrupted. I thought the OP was asking about using BT to display images or video.
Thank you guys. How do you pair the device for audio playback? I'm assuming by device you mean my 2010 LS. I've paired it for phone calls. I guess I'll try to do it again under BT. If there's instructions somewhere and you know where, please let me know. Thanks.
EDIT: Ok, I just checked the 2010 manual. Screen shot from page 440.
