Staggered setup - What's best offset, diameter etc??
 

My tires are needing replacement this year. I've looked at the "FAQ - wheel tire" thread, but there's so much to wade through. In short, I'm considering replacing my wheels as well. I have NO intention or desire to lower my car, so it'll remain stock height. What would be a good STAGGERED setup, both in diameter and offset that would not look like the car would need lowering to look right? If anyone is selling their setup, that would be nice too. In the meantime, 'll keep sifting thru the wheel thread....

Are you staying with 20" or are you open to a larger/smaller diameter set-up?

I just sold a set of 22" staggered niche milan wheels to a rim shop that I always do business with for $200. 22x9 in the front and 22x10.5 in the rear. 3 wheels had a bend on the face of the wheel but they repair wheels there and they were going to powdercoat them gloss black then resell them. It had a +38 offset on the front wheels, which I had to run a 8mm spacer in the front to clear the upper control arms. Back was a +40 offset and they fit just fine. The wheels I have now are 22x9, +32 offset and 22x10.5, +38 offset. No spacers and running 265/30/22 and 305/25/22.

20X9 +40 and 20x10 +35 is a great fitment for the LS460

WedSports new Forged FT-117 wheel has a hubcentric wheel in 20x8.5 +35 and 20x9.5 +38 5X120 with 60.1

the FAQ sticky was set up to highlight those offsets, sizes and widths using the template of info that is pretty much consistent throughout to give you an idea on what actually works. it is a lot to review but lots of good info in there. that being said, go with 22x9 front and 20 to 30mm offset range with 255/30/22 and 22x10.5 rear with 295/25/22 with a 35 to 40 offset and you will be perfect for what you are trying to do. If you have AWD, it does sit naturally higher so keep that in mind. my 600 was AWD by default but I had the lowering module and drove on level 3 or 4 to reduce the gap. my current 460L is RWD and sits lower by default but I run on level 2 which was equivalent to level 4 with my 600 AWD. I hate fender gap

And tire size to complement these?

Also, I have 20 inch now, but sometimes the rear looks smaller than the front due to the polished lip on the staggered setup (as you can see from my pic below my signature).. Would 22 inch look better? And again....not lowering my car - stock height.

You can run 255/35/20 in the front with 275/35/20 in the rear and it should be really close to the OEM speedometer readings.

The wheels I mentioned are no lip designed wheels. See below:

I'm running Continental DWS-06 in 245/40/20 and 275/35/20 on 9/10.5" rims. Perfect fit and same diameter as stock.

Fronts 22x9 +30 (245/30/22)
Rears 22x10.5 +38 (295/25/22)

Perfectly flushed, no rubbing

FWIW I had 22's and wasn't happy. Pot hole paranoia, not the best ride. Granted the 20's I went to are forged monobloc wheels that are much lighter. The stock suspension isn't designed to damp a 60-70 pound wheel tire combo and 22's are heavy. The ride is way better on my 20's. doesn't look as gangster but more purpose oriented.

you're not lowering and don't want fender gap. 21 and 22 with small tires (35 or 30) will make the front gap look much larger. 20s with a 40 tire would be your best bet, as you have already.
also, those +38s or what not are not "flush"...
IMO, Black wheels make the wheels look a lot smaller than what it is, 20s.
Change the face color for some contrast and it will help with making it look larger ;) Maybe have someone PS you an idea... jmo
