Default 2010 ls 460

Ive found a 2010 LS 460 1 owner, no accidents with clear Carfax. 35,000 miles southern car. Any thoughts on this model and fair price for this car?

You should "google" the VIN. Occasionally that provides some additional insight.

Thank you for your suggestions. My local Lexus dealer will not provide service history on a pre-purchase inquiry. I am left to the Carfax that shows regular maintenance but not repair history.

Curious about what you think about this year model, problems, and fair price. Asking price is $27,799.

My advice would only be to look autotrader and cargurus and shop a little more, these cars can last a long time, so you don't want to overspend too much, I'd only spend 18 on a 2010 max, now I know your at the dealer so going to be more, I don't look at the mileage, I go by how the interior looks, lower/upper control arms your going want to check on a 2010 also, the 2011's I believe lexus fixed that issue, Other than that ML audio will give you DVD playback, just my 2 cents good luck.

To me the year is much less important then say the mileage and overall condition of the car

Id rather buy a mint low mileage 07 then a high mileage 13+ regardless of any new features and updates

Good luck with that. Can't imagine you'd find much of a 2010 for $18k "max". I paid $31k for my 2011 Sport package car with under 50k miles last year and felt it was a good deal.

I agree

Ive seen a few "cheap" 460's locally but they are always high mileage 07's

Ive seen no deals on the 08's except for the one I bought, and once you get into the 09's and 10's and up the price starts skyrocketing

As suggested above, create an account here and add the vehicle to your account - https://next.secure.drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/

That will give you all service history from any Lexus dealer that serviced the car.

If that Lexus dealer can't provide me the service history I wouldn't buy it.

As above, x2. You can find the service history on Lexusdrivers.com. Just put in the VIN number and you'll get everything the Lexus dealer can provide you.

Depending on the trim/features (ML/Navi?), I'd say $25-$26k would be a good price for it.
I'm seeing 2010-2011's with 70-100k miles in the $21-$23k range, some higher/some lower so this gives you an overall decent indication.

Is the Lexus dealership the one selling the car? I have never heard of a Lexus dealer not providing service history. If they're the ones selling the car, I wouldn't consider buying it. As others have stated, you can get what you need off of the Lexus Drivers site. If the car is in good condition (hard to believe it wouldn't be with such low miles) and you feel good about the service history, I'd see if I could get it for $26k. May be worth a private party inspection and also see if someone can tell you how the control arms look. That would be my only concern on a 2010. Also, look at when the car was manufactured- if it's a late 2010 (July, August, Sep), it's effectively a 2011 and you may not have the same control arm concern. Good luck.

Certainly the 2010 model is by far the best year model produced!
