Clanky and hissing noises coming from the brake

Been hearing this noises from the front brake for a while now and wonder if there is remedy out there. Every time i push the brake pedal i hear a clanking metallic noise and most of the time i have an hissing noise few secs later as welll, both coming from the brake. Is this a common problemand is there a fix for it?

Hey there, if it sounds like this:

it could be your brake actuator. Many threads discussing it that can help you diagnose the cause. Could also be your brake pads shifting. Either way, hope you track it down. My brake noise was driving me nuts..

Maybe the infamous brake master cylinder is going south, a known issue on these models

Thanks for the feedback, the noise is not similar to the one on that video. The clanking noise is like taking a small hamer and hiting like a metal plate like a manhole cover. The sounds has continued even after changing the brake pads and rotors. How can i found out if it's the brake actuator?
The hissing noise comes up when i brake, the noise is always at the same level and i really like to gwt rid of both.
