Oh for sure. Like most others I chose this car over the competition b/c of the legendary reliability. However, I can't help think that other manufacturers at least offer several different OEM wheel options for their cars, especially their high end ones. I don't mind the 18s, I think the car still looks great, but wish there were more options is all.

The LS has 4 wheel options I can think off off the top of my head, one 18 and three 19s.

Older versions of the LS460 had 3-4, 2 18s, 2 19s...

Yes you're right. I should clarify in saying that I am more specifically talking about the AWD models. For my and OP's models years the only wheels I ever saw was our standard 18 mutispoke or occasionally a chromed 18. If you live in a nicer area and can have RWD then you have those nice 19 5 spokes as an option. Sadly I never came across a single AWD model with those 19s, and almost every single one had the base 18s. So perhaps my comment isn't accurate in the general sense, but it is more tailored to the AWD 460.

Bigger wheels were in fact available, its just that nobody ever spec'ed them that way, so when you see used ones they all have the basic 18s.

There was no reason why an AWD couldn't have the 19s, they were available as an option...its just that nobody bought them.
