Just got my "new" LS460, 2008. Beautiful sparkly red (don't know the official color name). Have been driving my faithful 2004 LS430 since 2005 and it now has 235,000 miles on it. Will probably keep both cars. Bought the 2008 with 90,000 miles. Hoping for the same experience with this new car.
Hello everybody I have been a LS owner since the 90's with two LS 400 94 and 95. From there, now I have an LS 460 L Pearl White as was the 95 previous LS 400, the later has an Executive Package. I hope to share information and experience.
I've been on Club Lexus since '02 when I bought my SC 430.
Just traded in my 2015 Challenger RT Plus Shaker for my first LS 460 L.

Just got my second LS about a month ago. I had a '92 LS for a few years back around 2011. It was a great, 3200 dollar car for being 19/20 years old. I think I only put a little over a grand in it in the ~3 years I had it. That included timing belt and water pump.
Anyway, just picked up an '07 LS460L about a month ago. It's got 112K and in excellent condition. I would rate body 9.5/10 (few minor rock chips) and interior 9.5/10.

Previous owner did the 100K service: Brakes, plugs, water pump, starter, fluids etc. All recalls have been addressed.
I am scouring this site to learn all I can without bugging with questions that have already been answered 100 tmes. One thing I can't seem to figure out, can you do the "nike" lights on an 07?

Well, I just acquired a dying breed - the 2017 Lexus LS 460. I upgraded from an RX 350. I love the car... Lots of room, attractive interior, smooth ride with great power - we all know what the LS is known for! There weren't many changes, if any at all, in the 2017 model. I read about infotainment upgrades, including the remote touch console, but that's about it I believe. I opted for the RWD, SWB liquid platinum with black interior and shimamoku wood trim (gorgeous btw). I wanted to drive this model before production ceased - always wanted to drive an LS 460. I figure after my lease is up in a few years, the new LS 500 will be preparing to release its 3rd/4th LS 500. By then, I expect better pricing, updated technology and features, and dare I say a V8 engine?!!!! When purchasing, my long-time salesman told me that buyers were placing 15-20k deposits on the impending LS500 - just to hold a spot. Pricing will be ridiculous during the first couple of years, but I guess that matters less for the loyal LS purists. For now, I am extremely content with my purchase. Ironically, I am the type of guy that wants something after the hype is gone, so driving the 4th Gen is really okay with me. I got a crazy deal on the LS! Sometimes it pays to wait a while before running to the new models.
Added 20% charcoal tints to all windows - gives the liquid platinum exterior great contrast. Happy driving!
Had a 96 SC400 cherry red 92k miles for over 14yrs then it got stolen. It was my favorite car ever. I needed a car to drive around locally while I visit my father in Tennessee while he recovers from a medical issue and the universe paid me back by leading me to an obscure local used car lot who doesn't even use "the fancy Internet" to advertise. A true 1 owner 97 LS 400 driven by the town's 80yr old attorney who traded it to the lot's owner for tree work done on his property. I swear im not making this up !!!! Other than the original radio being stolen while on the lot and the crappy aftermarket one installed by the local handy man, the car is as clean as any 20yr old car could ever be expected to be. So i joined ClubLexus and I expect to ask plenty of questions as i dive into this radio situation and find a nice nav unit to replace it with.
