Sold my 05 GS430 a week ago with 169k miles and still running strong. 3 days later, purchased a 2010 LS460 with 76k miles from a dealer. 1 owner car in excellent condition. Car has plenty of power and rides great.

I previously drove a 2012 Matador Red LS460 AWD. It was a wonderful car but kids needed more room in rear seat on long trips. So, I traded this vehicle for a fully loaded 2014 LWB model.

The car is silver with black interior, Mark Levinson, Appearance package ( 19" wheels) and other stuff that I'm not sure of. I hope to use it for 4-5 trouble free years.

I'm Norm, just replaced my 2011 ES 350 with this 2010 Peridot Mica LS 460 w/black interior.
Comfort package, appearance package, still figuring out what else.
I've been a CL member since I bought my first LS400, way back in 2001, so going on 15 years now.
I have owned two different Opal Pearl '97 LS400 Coach Editions. Both were very reliable and had no issues other than normal wear. Recently, I had an epiphany and realized that I could be driving my 166K mile LS400 for another 5 years at this rate (5-7K miles per year) and the thought propelled me to make a change into something more modern. looked very hard at the bulletproof 2005-2006 LS430s but in the end they were too much like a modernized version of my LS400. Not different enough, although at around $15K they represent a tremendous value. So that convinced me that the 460 was the right car - standard wheelbase and RWD.
You guys get 'the search' otherwise we wouldn't be here on CL. I spent a some time doing my homework, although I didn't really know much about the sport model. I did know that Ultra Luxury cars had the air suspension, which was to be avoided in the both LS430 and LS460. In the end, the air suspension wasn't a decision factor since the Sport model has it.

But I will add that after looking at a half dozen cars, including a few CPO cars, NONE were as clean as this 2012. And more than 1 car I looked at was riding on crap tires, I saw Uniroyal Tiger Paws and one truly unknown brand that is probably below tier 3. Cheap tires tells me a lot about the owner and I tend to not want to buy a car that's not riding on tier 1 Michelins, Bridgestone, Contis, Pirellis, etc. My LS460 has very nice 19" Bridgestone Turanzas, which are fine tires for a daily driver.
I have several friends that daily drive BMWs and Audis. They always give me grief about my driving around in a Clinton era Toyota Lexus b/c A) I could afford nicer and B_ no real car guy would drive such a dull appliance. Having owned several German sedans, I get the whole 'German Driving Experience', but that comes with a big price as the cars always have issues, both big and little. I really didn't mind the old LS as a commuter, it still drives fine and it's not like I'm blasting on ramps during my occasional freeway commutes.
But I don't want to worry about owning another German car out of warranty, I already own a 14 year old 911 Turbo (48K miles) with no warranty, and while it's only a weekend toy it more than fills the need for an 'exciting driving experience'. It's also extremely well built.
Of course I expect my '12 LS460 Sport to be just a tad more entertaining than the 'ol LS4. When I saw the stitching on the seats and the flappy paddles, I knew it was a Sport model as I hadn't seen it before. The BMW sales guy of course didn't know ANYTHING about the car, so I didn't lead on about how rare or special I thought it was. I let him assume that all LS460s were like this. My only comment to him was something like, "it's a lot like the BMW 7 Series, only it doesn't break!'
With a sticker right at $80K , this LS460 also has the Mark Levinson sound system as well as the Comfprt Package.
And other than that Sport Tuned Air Suspension, there's not much else to worry about on the 460s, is there ;-)

Congrats on the beautiful car! She seems to be in pristine condition. I also liked the pics of the rear seat and controls. I am guessing your vehicle is equipped with the advanced pre-collision package as well - Lane Keep assist and Dynamic radar cruise control. I recently paid 60K for an used 2014 LWB recently with all of these options with 43K miles. I am curious to know how much you paid for a similarly equipped 2010. I am guessing 40K.
