Flew out and test drove it. Looked it over and it looked good ....couple battery cover / shroud clips missing but other than that ...no issues. Got a 48 month / 50,000 mile extended warranty.

Beautiful car, inside and out. It is the top of the line car in 2010 as an alternative to the Exec package. It doesn't have LKA (no button on steering wheel below DRCC button), but maybe that and advanced pre-collision were not available in that MY. For the features and mileage, you got a great deal. Congrats, and enjoy the ride!
So far, in the 9 months since I bought my 2014 LWB, I have made a number of small mods: metal-finish pedals, Lloyds Luxe floor mats, all LED interior lights, and mud guards. Check out those threads if you are interested. I expect to black-wrap my grille and install a Beatsonic iPhone mirroring kit soon.

New owner 08 ls 460
Just bought a 08 LS 460 owned by a mom and pop 37000 miles haven't picked it up yet like new will try to negotiate Lexus extended warranty for used cars when I pick it up. Have owned a 04 GX 470 for eight years plan on keeping it for winter and hauling stuff. Using the LS for other things and trips. The GX is comfortable but could be a little bigger for me 6ft 250lbs. The LS has plenty of driver room for me rides like a dream cant't wait to get it.

Congrats, MrBill, welcome to the LS forum. You will love the car, and one with such low miles is almost new. Hope you got the car pre-purchase inspected by an independent company or a Lexus dealership. Test drive it also. Look out for the main issues people have discussed on other threads - control arms, brake actuator, and air suspension if so equipped. Enjoy the ride, and like they say, No pics?, then it didn't happen

I am enjoying the car so far. I traded in a 2009 BMW 750li for it and took my 22' rims off and strapped them to my LS.....Looked great but rubbed quite a bit in the rear...so I removed them and went back to the factory wheels. I am very interested in how I can put 22s on the LS without changing the suspension. Is it possible? My wheels have a Mid Offset and I believe the LS has a High offset. Looking for suggestions. Thanks and I appreciate any and all help on this matter.
