I’ve been on this forum for a while for many models, but never thought I’d own and would be posting in the LS area.

Just picked up a 2007 LS460 , obsidian exterior , black interior... 96k miles, comfort package.



Purchased it on the spot from a Lexus dealer “as is”, it looked clean and my fiancé liked it. I paid more than I would of wanted since the dealership was a no haggle platform. I passed on the extended warranty they try to sell us. Hope I made the right choice... Wish I would of found a long body model, or at least had mark levingson sound package.

Positives are it’s 1 owner, no accidents reported... it had the brake actuator replaced at 75k according to Lexus driver history, and the front control arms are still good. Found out and researched about these issues after I purchased... hopefully nothing goes wrong.

Negatives are it had a bad touchscreen and I had to get the digitalizer replaced for $260 at a independent repair place. Dealer would of charged 2k. The air vent has a crack on the bezel which I see a lot of users get. The passenger side door panel handle and right dash area near radio is also a bit sticky. Hoping the new warranty enchancement program I’m reading about cover these!

It had pdr done at dealer and paint touch up that is far from my level of quality, but will do for now.

So far in a week I fixed the navigation touch screen as mentioned. Put in yellow led fogs, and white led interior , and swoosh parking light.

Howzit going everybody my name is Lopaka and I picked up a 2007 about two months ago, before I became a CL member. I wish I knew about and registered with this forum prior to purchasing. I'm coming from the lifted 4x4 scene and let go a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4WD that I built from stock to pick up the LS. I regret selling it and wish I kept it as my second vehicle but just didn't have the room to keep it. However the upgrade to an LS has been great so far and I feel luxurious every time I get into it lol.

2007 base model, RWD, Smoky Granite Mica with light gray interior
Unsure of what pkgs it has, if any, but I do know that it has the ML stereo system. No NAV and AUX input (bummer)
I use it as my daily, about 34mi/day, and looking forward to keeping it beyond 200k miles

Picking up a 2008 LS460L with Touring Package and ML sound system, in Verdigris Mica with Ivory interior, this Saturday

All maintenance done at the same Lexus dealer, 1 owner, no accidents.

Air Suspension was replaced at 70k, new control arms and shocks and new tires. Water pump was replaced 4k ago at dealer and it has cross-drilled brakes. Tranny and engine oil was changed according to the maintenance schedule by Lexus.

Only issue is the bolster adjustment button for driver seat has gone out.

105,000 miles. the owner is an older friend.

Going to pick it up for $4000. Next week will be inspection to make sure everything is in working order (cause i am paranoid), full detail (exterior and interior) and possibly installing the VLINE system.

Excited! i am coming from a Scion FRS (still have it as fun weekend car)!

Hello everyone! Bought my first Lexus last Thursday. 2008 LS460 L model. 5 seater. Just finished the 5 inch thick stack of owner information that was in the glove box. Fantastic car but...I do have a question that I couldn't find any satisfactory answer to. I "chauffeur" older folks and kids constantly and I'll stop and get things for them so they don't have to get out of the car. My old 300C was able to keep running for the sake of climate control and I would lock all the doors to keep occupants safe. I don't seem to be able to lock the doors with the LS idling in the parking lot. Is there a way to do this? I can't just leave the car running unlocked with kids and elderly in the back.
Thanks for any help you can give. I wouldn't mind spending a few hundred to get someone to program car to do this if possible.
