Car won't start sometimes
The car is daily driven and at least once out of the week it won't start. To get it started I have to disconnect the battery to reset it.
When it doesn't start it has these codes: P0390, P0365, P0345, P0340, and P0335. When I reset the ECU the codes are gone and then it starts. Could it be these camshaft or crankshaft sensors going bad at once or do you think it's something else that's connected to it that's causing it not to start? Batteries good, I changed the starter 8 months ago, and the last thing I had done was a fuel recall that was done at the dealer. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
Replace those sensors, if it is still doing that you might need to replace the ecm itself. Before doing anything though check for some open wires shorting out along those sensors to the ecm.

If the car was starting fine before the fuel sensor recall, take it back to the dealership.

When you say "it won't start" do you mean that it will crank but won't start, or do you mean that it won't crank?

Does the starter make a click sound? Did you check voltage? Maybe a fuse is blown, if not your starter might be dead.

Did you replace the battery in the remote key?

Wait I had this problem when the brake switch didn't work right. If the brake isn't applied it won't start.
