Default HID ballast/control module replacement

Hi guys, I had to remove my new (aftermarket)HID headlight bulb (morimoto brand)on my drivers side do to going out after about five minutes. I reinstalled my oem bulb to see if it's a bulb problem. I was just wondering if anyone here has replaced the headlight ballast/control module just in case it's in fact the problem ?????

I haven't changed the ballast yet. I'm just wondering how hard it is if I have to. It's a 2007.

When I have some time to set aside, I will be doing a very detailed and rather lengthy write up of my recent HID bulb/ballast issues.
I own a 2007 as well.
Not a horror story necessarily, and partially, from what I can gather at this point, my issue is self-induced.
Will do the write up soon.

No matter the model year, the headlight needs to come out which means you have to remove the bumper. The HID ballast is attached to bottom of headlight. In order to replace, you have to also take out the AFS module and snake the bulb plug thru, then reinstall the AFS module. Not real hard, just lot of things to do
