How do I know if my 2009 LS460 has the sports package?

It doesn't, because the sport package was first available for 2010. Lexus talked about a Touring package at introduction of the 2007 LS, but didn't actually bring it to market in the US.

See this thread for lots of info on the 2007-2009 option packages.

I have an 08 and it has the touring pkg.

Apologies -- apparently they did make it for the LWB cars. It never appeared for the SWB cars, though (such as the OP's, and mine).

So how can we determine if a 2008 LS 460 L has the sports package or not?
I’m trying to order the Power Stop Z23 front rotors and pads kit, however, for this car they have different part numbers depending on whether you have the sports package or not.
K4686 is without it.
K4687 is with it.

go to Lexus drivers.com register and seee what stuff the car originally came with and you will know. How ever that would not help you if the owner is like me and going to upgrade the callipers. Look for my question somewhere on how to tell sport callipers apart. The pads are no different the callipers are just bolted on to give more space to bigger rotors.

there are some marking on the callipers if they are sport also size sport I think is 357mm dia and also thicker but less important for identification

That sounds great. I’ll check it out. Thank you
